As a Volunteer Co-ordinator your job will allow you to experience a wide range of duties. You will be responsible to the Volunteer Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator and will work directly with both of them.
You may be given the opportunity to go out and visit the other volunteers at their locations to ensure that their work and host placements are progressing smoothly and to discuss and address any issues they may arise during their time with VIN. This is a fantastic opportunity to see not only many of the programs that are currently run by VIN but also the different communities. But be prepared as some of these placements are in difficult to reach locations and require riding in buses crammed with people andwalking along barely visible tracks to reach them, a great experience.
You will also assist with general office duties including but not restricted to proofreading, review and editing of all VIN’s documents, assist in production of monthly newsletter and annual reports and the update of the website.
