VIN has been conducting Basic Computer Classes for children, youth and adults in NaraTika Community Learning Centre (NTCLC). In Okhaldhunga, most of the people never had the chance to use a computer and get familiar with its functions. Hence, realizing this technology as well as knowledge gap, VIN initiated the Basic Computer Classes for interested individuals. So, far we have 83 participants. The classes are conducted from early morning, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm in the evening. Each class is about an hour long accommodating 9-10 number of participants.
This three months long basic computer class training covers general introduction to computer, typing practice, operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, e-mail and internet. Mrs. Manita Basnet has been taking the computer classes continuously supporting and motivating the students to perform better. VIN wishes them all the best and we hope to be able to accommodate as many students as possible in near future.
