Health Camp with Women

VIN’s public health team conducted a health camp among women in Tinpple, Jitpur. From the camp, 16 women were benefited.   The camp was held to record blood pressure of women and to explore their health problems. It was found that most of the women (8) had low blood pressure (lower than normal value 120/80) and other was normal. Most of the women were found suffered from back pain and few had gastritis. Back pain was probably because of hard work and load carrying on back.

Women were found to have low blood pressure along with back pain. Most of them were thin and weak. It is concluded that they are not having good nutrition as they work. Health campaigns conducted by VIN have helped to elaborate the health problems of people. It has helped to develop strategy and formulate the plan to take further action.
