Volunteers initiative Nepal welcomed 9 volunteers in the month of July. Among them 6 volunteers were for Psot disaster relief project, one for counseling and two for public health and Medical care.
All the international volunteers were escorted from airport to Hotel Premium in Thamel on their first day in Nepal. All of the volunteers were given 3 days induction. The inductions were scheduled with different sessions like VIN’s overview as organization, Cultural tips, Program orientation, Nepali language, health tips and placement information.
With a mix interest of volunteers, VIN placed all volunteers for community programs with main focus on post disaster relief work. VIN received 5 volunteers from spain, two volunteers from Netherlands and one volunteers from USA and one from Australia.
