“I have been working with VIN for the last four months. In the beginning I was involved in the health care program on Okhaldunga district, in the eastern part of Nepal.
Living conditions were not easy due to the lack of infrastructures, running water, electricity and additionally I seldom felt difficulties in communication with the local inhabitants due to the different language.
Later I moved to Jitpurphedi, 12 km northwest of Kathmandu where I managed a survey concerning waste management with Emmi, Finnish girl and Charlotte, French.
The research was very interesting and passionating and I could develop new competences in data analysis which will be useful for my skills.”
