VIN helping to demolish House under Post Disaster relief project

Published on: 19/03/2017

Under the  post disaster relief project (demolishing house)  has been initiated 1 month and has been still been priority regarding this project. With the help from Volunteering Initiative Nepal (VIN) the program has been launched and the project has been running fast .It has been a major program that has been launched with the help of VIN at Kathmandu, kavresthali community. Although the program has been launched years ago with the positive change and still the program is been running with the help from VIN and international volunteers across the globe. We have seen drastic change in the developmental project which has been conducted so far. We have also seen change in behavior towards the risky house where the people are living in dangerous situation that’s why VIN begun this post disaster relief project.

Kavresthali lies north to the Kathmandu valley. It is remote area where people are illiterate and unaware about the natural disaster and risk. In this post disaster relief project, community people  and with local volunteers(priyanka , Alisha, rajan ) and the international volunteers( john) from Australia has been supporting for demolishing house which was affect by earthquake in 2015. Project staff and local volunteers & international volunteers are doing lots of help for the affected house in the community.

There is hope for the people that VIN could help the kavresthali community for the post disaster relief (demolishing house) project and community related issues. And VIN has doing a lot for the development of the kavresthali community relating to any programs that has come up with. We have succeeded in many programs that have been conducted with the help of the local peoples.
