Tomorrow, VIN is welcoming 21 new volunteers! There will be people from France, Belgium, UK, USA, Japan, Finland and Hong Kong. There will be five work camp construction volunteers and the others are going to be spread in the following projects: Teaching in a Monastery, Agro forestry, Orphanage, Construction, Women trafficking prevention, Health and medical care, Early Childhood Development and water research. During the 3 days Induction program, VIN staff members will present them the Organization and its various projects as well as cultural and health tips. In order to facilitate their integration, they will be taught Nepalese language. Then, on the 3rd day they will meet their new host families or the monks of each Monastery.
For the induction, VIN prepared the folders for each volunteers which includes all the general information about the program and Nepal. VIN is very excited about meeting them and starting this challenging day!
