ECD Materials for Okharpauwa Community school.

Volunteers initiative Nepal (VIN) has been supporting children to provide opportunity for their Development. Children of ages 3 – 5 years are involving in Early childhood Development( ECD). Volunteers Initiative Nepal VIN had been supporting all 9 schools in okharpauwa VDC, Nuwakot. There are 9 ECD class in their school. VIN helps them for their Holistic development among them Early childhood Development (ECD) is  also important. For that Schools are also trying  various ECD program in their school. But all have not been successful, that why VIN distributed ECD Furniture materials to them. First VIN conducted a survey by visiting every schools to list out the materials needed. Then according to the necessity and keeping in mind that the materials can be provided by VIN the materials are brought by VIN. This month VIN distribution ECD materials to 9 Community schools.
This ECD materials will be very helpful for ECD children’s development. About 1000 children can be  indirectly benefited from this distribution program. VIN had conducted 6 days ECD facilitators training last week in okharpauwa kaule school. The facilitators were trained how to help children in their early childhood development. They were taught children Rhymes, stories that can help inspire children and teach them moral values. Make toys out of  local materials available for children to play with, teach proper hygiene to children etc . The facilitators from following school participated in  Bhawani Secondary school, World light saraswoti Home, Mahalaxmi Primary school, Shivalaya Secondary school, Okharpauwa secondary school. Kaauledevi primary school, Surya primary school, Mahakali Lower secondary school, Shanti devi primary school.
