Before coming to Nepal, I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know anything about the culture and what volunteering was like. But I discovered a wonderful country, people and culture. I learned how difficult life can be for Nepali women and I tried my best to give them good advices (stress management class, nutrition class). I was moved by some women’s story. Despite all these emotions I really enjoyed living in Jitpur community. I adapted easily to Nepali culture and living with my host family is an experience that I will never forget. Volunteering in Nepal allowed me to be useful, to discover another country and to create new friendship
