Our teams at Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN) play a crucial role in delivering high-quality programs that support education, health, women’s empowerment, environment, disaster response, and community development. Each team is made up of professionals and volunteers who are passionate about creating long-term change in Nepal’s rural communities.
Our management team oversees organizational planning, leadership, and the smooth running of projects across the country. They ensure that every program stays aligned with VIN’s mission of empowering marginalized communities. The program coordinators work on the ground, connecting with local communities, monitoring project progress, and supporting volunteers throughout their placements.
Our field staff members are at the heart of community engagement. They work directly with families, women’s groups, schools, and youth clubs to identify local needs and implement effective solutions. These teams help create safe learning environments, run awareness campaigns, and support sustainable development activities.
We also have a dedicated volunteer support team that assists international and national volunteers from the moment they arrive in Nepal. They provide orientation, training, home-stay arrangements, and continuous guidance during volunteering. Their goal is to ensure that every volunteer feels safe, supported, and able to contribute meaningfully.
