Published on: 11/06/2017

On 7th of June, the volunteer coordinator along with new youth empowerment officer and international hospitality volunteer with her translator went to Kavresthali for different purposes. The volunteer coordinator was there to seek new host families, assist hospitality volunteer for their research and also to show the community for the new youth empowerment officer.

They went to the host families to do the research to know whether the host families knew the concept of home stay and about how to enhance their home stay as well. They went to three host families in Kavresthali to do the research on that day. The volunteer coordinator was also able to meet two construction volunteers who are demolishing the earthquake affected house of a poor family at Thali gaun.

As Kavresthali is a new working site for VIN and needs a lot of host families for the future, the volunteer coordinator also searched 2 new host families around Kavresthali.

VIN has been working in different projects by mobilizing the skilled local and international volunteers to promote equality, economic well-being and basic human rights.
