Role Summary:

As a Fundraiser Volunteer, you will be vital in securing financial resources for ViN’s life-changing programs. From organizing dynamic crowdfunding campaigns to building relationships with corporate sponsors, your work will directly contribute to the success and sustainability of our community development projects. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Organize Crowdfunding Campaigns: Lead and manage online crowdfunding campaigns to raise awareness and funds for ViN’s projects. Develop creative strategies to attract donors and keep them engaged throughout the campaign.
• Plan Fundraising Events: Organize charity dinners, auctions, and community fundraising activities. Use these events to raise funds, engage new donors, and spread awareness of ViN’s mission.
• Corporate Sponsorship Outreach: Research and approach corporate houses to secure sponsorships for ViN’s projects. Develop tailored proposals that highlight the impact of their support and foster long-term partnerships.
• Donor Engagement and Stewardship: Build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, keeping them informed about the impact of their contributions and ensuring their continued support.
• Grant Writing and Proposal Development: Collaborate with the team to write compelling grant proposals and funding applications to secure support for ViN’s various programs.
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor fundraising campaigns and events to ensure they meet goals. Provide regular reports and updates to the team and donors on the success of fundraising efforts.
• Develop Fundraising Materials: Create compelling content and materials for fundraising appeals, newsletters, and donor communications to keep supporters engaged and informed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, event management, or sales. Previous experience in securing corporate sponsorships is a plus.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively tell ViN’s story and persuade donors and sponsors to contribute.
• Creativity and Innovation: Thinking outside the box and developing engaging and unique fundraising strategies, events, and campaigns.
• Goal-oriented: A results-driven individual motivated to meet fundraising targets and exceed expectations.
• Passionate About Social Change: A solid commitment to ViN’s mission of empowering marginalized communities in Nepal and the desire to make a meaningful difference.
• On-Site Commitment: Must be available to work full-time at the ViN office in Nayabazar, Kathmandu, and travel as needed for events and corporate outreach.
