Group Volunteering


Generally, we human are born alone but we need someone as a friend to talk to, share happiness, sadness and problems, fight and love each other. Being with someone is one of the natures of human. This is a program which is design for you to volunteer in a group; a group which you know or which you are familiar to. A circle of friends, religious group, co-workers, and relatives can get involved in group volunteering programs. Volunteering abroad is one kind of experience where you can exchange culture, language and lifestyle. It gets even better when you do with a group of people you know.

 

VIN works in an integrated approach for community development. VIN has different types of volunteering programs like Long/Mid-term volunteer project, work camps, short term volunteer and group volunteers. For the group volunteering program VIN have wide range of projects. Projects focus on public health and medical care, children development, developing infrastructure, youth empowerment etc.   The volunteers are placed in the project sites of VIN. The volunteers during the program will be access to proper food, accommodation and transportation. The group volunteers will experience the cultural home stay in the community.

 

The time for group volunteering throughout the year is flexible. You can propose us your appropriate time and VIN can organize a group volunteering program accordingly. VIN also helps the group by providing the local volunteers. Some of the projects for group volunteering are

 

 

VIN will provide inductions on first day of group volunteering regarding organization, culture of Nepal, about the program, some health tips for the stay in Nepal etc. VIN can also initiate travel plan according to your need.

We organized a campaign in Tarkeswor municipality with the slogan “Say No to Plastics”.  Our major objective focused on plastic waste, which is mainly present in the form of hollow bodies (bottles, cans...) or flexible forms (plastic bags, labels)
