Role at VIN:
Mr.Ghimire, as a principle representative, makes decisions on behalf of the organization. He represents VIN to its many constituents and stakeholders and is responsible for developing networks for its improvement. He creates new programs and formulates the planning accordingly.
Mr. Ghimire has completed his Master’s in Education from Tribhuvan University.
Expertise and Experience:
Bhupendra completed his Master’s Degree in Education, and has been a teacher and Principal in Nepal for 8 years. Before starting VIN, he worked with a British charity as a Programme Coordinator and Teacher Trainer, and also gained experience in community mobilization, children/youth development, and staff development. Bhupendra has travelled extensively as a teacher and volunteer trainer – instructing over 1,000 overseas volunteers and Nepali teachers in TEFL and other subjects, and delivering over 60 workshops for teachers, School Management Committee members, Parent-Teacher Associations, Community Mobilisers and Children’s Clubs.
He has also made official visits to the United Kingdom, the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Vietnam, Thailand, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Poland, UAE, Pakistan and India. He is a life member of NELTA, ELTecs and Asian TEFL IATEFL.
