I am a Self-motivated and detail-oriented Registered Public Health Professional, currently serving as a Public Health Project Intern. I have experience in conducting community health diagnosis, Data Analysis, Implementing Micro health projects (MHPs) and School health programs (SHPs). My goal is to secure a meaningful career opportunity where I can apply my training and skills while making a valuable contribution to public health.
As a Public Health Project Intern, My responsibilities include conducting health surveys, implementing educational health programs in schools and communities, and developing manuals based on findings. I facilitate communication, including interpretation, between the local community and international volunteers. I also assist international volunteers on the local context, customs, and cultural sensitivities. I also assisted in data entry, analysis, and reporting to support comprehensive health management practices.
I have extensive experience working with various health organizations, including the District Health Office in Banke. My work has involved conducting health surveys in local communities, analyzing the data, and implementing Mini Action Projects to address community health issues. I have also facilitated health education sessions in schools and communities, contributing to raising awareness on diverse public health topics.
In addition, my Bachelor’s thesis focused on researching factors associated with overweight and obesity among grade 9 and 10 students in Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu. This research enhanced my understanding of adolescent nutrition challenges and strengthened my skills in conducting in-depth research and data analysis.

During my internship, I worked with International Volunteers to conduct community health Research in Tarakeswar Municipality. Based on the research findings, developed a comprehensive health manual which includes various educational modules addressing key health-related topics identified as critical within the community. These modules are designed to meet the specific needs of the local population and provide valuable health education to improve community well-being.
