Balaram has crucial role in supporting and coordinating with European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers on a public health project. He is responsible for planning, organising, and managing activities targeted at diverse community groups, ensuring they align with the project’s objectives and impact goals.
Balaram has gained valuable hands-on experience through his work at the District Health Office in Sunsari and Bhimeshwor Municipality in Dolakha, where he applied his theoretical knowledge to real-life public health settings. He has developed strong competencies in data collection, analysis, communication, and community engagement. During the final semester of his bachelor’s degree, he conducted a research study titled “Electronic Gadget Use and Sleep Quality Among Grade 12 Students at Banepa Municipality, Kavre, Nepal”, further strengthening his research and analytical skills. He is skilled in project coordination and task management, ensuring the smooth implementation of activities across diverse contexts.
In addition to his academic and professional work, Balaram has been actively involved in leadership and youth engagement. He served as President of the Leo Club of Kathmandu Temple Peace Kavre during the Lionistic year 2023/24, making notable contributions to the club’s growth and impact. In the current Lionistic year 2024/25, he is serving as Region Coordinator and Board Member of the Leo District Council 325 I, Nepal. He is also engaged with the Nepal Youth Circle, contributing to youth-led initiatives.
