Volunteering and Hospitality Management

Program Fees Hospitality Management,VIN

Are you pursuing a career in travel and tourism?  Do you want to develop your experience and resume while working in a country of enticing beauty and culture?  If so, at VIN we have developed the Volunteering and Hospitality Management Project, offering you the opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry, while experiencing the rich texture of Nepal.

At once Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and a supremely popular tourist destination, rich in landscape and culture.  From the flat lands of Terai to eight of the world’s highest mountains, the country has diverse landscape, wildlife and culture.  There is no wonder that tourists from around the world come to look, trek, climb or throw themselves into the fast developing range of adrenaline sports that Nepal has to offer.

At VIN, in collaboration with our partners in busy Kathmandu, we have developed the opportunity for you to become a part of this, learning your trade and sharing your existing experience in an established hotel or restaurant.

VIN’s overriding objective is the empowerment of marginalised communities, with a focus on women and children.  Since 2007 we have been working with Jitpurphedi Village Development Committee (VDC), 12km outside Kathmandu, and have begun foundation work with Okhaldhunga district in the Everest region.  We have developed the Volunteering and Hospitality Management Project to share and develop knowledge of the hospitality industry across continental boundaries and to help to fund our core work in these communities.

You can work in Volunteering and Hospitality Management in Nepal as a volunteer or intern and safe in the knowledge that we at VIN have carefully planned the experience to ensure that you and our partners get the best from your time.
