The work camp volunteers of Volunteers Initiative Nepal are working for the Kalikasharan Secondary School at Tinpiple, Jitpurphedi. There are altogether eight volunteers from different countries like France, Tiwan and Czech Republic are working for the project. The volunteers are painting in different parts of the school. Railing, stage railing, classrooms, windows, volleyball pole, football ground area are some of the places the volunteers are painting.
The volunteers are working under the sport teaching and painting in school project that comes under children development program. They started the painting from the 7th September and will continue it till 18th September. VIN provided the volunteers with the materials that are required for the painting. The materials like painting color, tarpin oil, gloves, mask and so forth were provided by VIN. The volunteers are regularly supported by the VIN staff for smooth running of the program.
Besides, the volunteers are also working for the sports teaching project. The volunteers are teaching sports to the students of grade 1 to 8. They are teaching various outdoor sports to the students of the Kalikasharan Secondary School. The students are showing interest in the sports activities and are also actively participating in the activities. The volunteers are working in good coordination with the school staffs for running their projects.
