Local female community health volunteers (FCHVs) are awarded

Two female community health volunteers are awarded for their best performance throughout the year. Yanu Karki and Sanu Maya Tamang from Tarkeswore municipality ward 2, Kavresthali among 19 volunteers are awarded. They are awarded for their contribution on public health project implementation. Community health volunteers supports Kavresthali health post and VIN by coordinating projects with locals, communication and colleting health information. VIN involves local community health volunteers in it’s public health program and provides health training to build up their capacity.

VIN’s doctor, ward president and health post incharge felicitate the awarded candidates. Health post incharge thanks VIN for this event. He said “FCHVs are supporting us but they didn’t get any facilities. This award will motivate them for best performance. We are thankful to VIN”. VIN’s doctor talk about the support from VIN and the background to support FCHVs. VIN is pleased to work with FCHVs. VIN would like to continue to support them. Ward president is happy that VIN has supported FCHVs. He has motivated them for strong commitment for their work. He gave the speech on support from Ward office for coming days.

Awarded volunteers said that they are happy to get recognize for their contribution. They said it has motivated them for future works.
