The main objective of this camp was to provide free medical services to local community people of all age groups and suffered from varieties of health problems. It was targetted to the people who are deprived of health services due to poverty, low awareness of health and inaccessibility of the health center. An old man of 87 years was brought at the camp with fever for more than 3 days. He was suffered from chronic respiratory disease. He looked critical. On examination, he was found with low blood pressure, low pulse and low blood oxygen level. He was transferred to hospital by ambulance. Most of local women were found suffered from reproductive health problem. Some of them had complaints of uterine prolapse. All the local people were very happy and satisfied to get this type of free medical camp in their surroundings. It is also proved by views of one of the patients benefited from the health camp- “Because of my old age, it was quite difficult for me to get to the hospital but this medical camp helped me to get free check up in my own area. I am happy to get benefitted.” 74 yrs old Dhan Bahadur Lama said. No doubt this camp was a great success. Furthermore, special medical camps for women suffering from reproductive health problems are in demand in that area.
