Life Skills Training to Women


Life Skills Training conducted by VIN at Kavresthali and Jitpurphedi

21th march Feb, 2014 – Education and Life Skill training to women of different groups in Jitpurphedi successfully finished by this following week. VIN, who organized the training by the help of International volunteer about the Leadership , self-esteem and Women right , Domestic violence since 10th February. The campaign run till the 6th week and finished the campaign too. In this final week, VIN conducted classes in Tinpiple, Pachmane and Gairigaun of Jitpurphedi.

 

This week there are altogether 37 women from different areas. The main objective of this training is to encourage women to be leader and to let them know about the women right and how to protect from Domestic Violence. Life Skill Training was conducted from Monday to Thursday, two hours per day. The whole Program is conducted in two parts one is Leadership and self-esteem development and other is class of Women Right and Domestic Violence. Lili, one of the international volunteer gave a lesson in Leadership and Self-esteem and Women Right and Domestic violence. The main Focus of the lesson is how to build leadership, how to develop leadership skill, for being a leader what kind of qualities should be there. The other is part of this training is of Women Right and Domestic Violence. The main Focus of this class is about the women rights, universal practice of women right, practices of women right in Nepal, meaning of domestic violence, how to protect from domestic violence . The whole class is conducted by discussing, interacting and also by engaging them into a play so that women would understand about the value of Leadership.

 

Trained women became very happy to know about the leadership and its value. They were glad to know this useful information in very short period. Most of Women said that they want to know more about women right and domestic violence. They requested to bring in depth information regarding domestic violence. Women are excited and happy that they were able to show the way to needy person.

 

VIN had successfully conducted training in Thulagaun , aapchaur, aathmile, devisthan, kisandol, Jitpur ward 3, Dhital gaun, pachmane, Thumki & tinpiple . To sum up, Through the 20 classes, there are altogether 201 women who had got this training in Jitpurphedi. While talking about the analysis and effective part of this training, we can conclude that the program was successful and very much effective to women.
