Volunteers Initiative Nepal has been successfully accomplishing its mission to empower the marginalised community with the support of generous and kind hearted volunteers .These volunteers not only awarded their valuable time but also supported us by donating teaching materials, medicines, sports materials, clothes etc.
Last month two volunteers, Caluwaerts Vanessa and Olivier Estelle from Belgium have donated their two weeks of their valuable time for the construction of toilets for the VIN and also contributed with 6o kg. of teaching materials such as pens, bags, exercise books, colour pens, pen drives and many more stationeries and 290Euro for more teaching materials. Their donations will be utilized for the target group community school, ECD centres and Monasteries on the guidance of VIN.
Another benevolent and charitable volunteer intern Greg Gibbs from Australia has also donated laptop, volunteer management book and his very precious time to VIN. He has generated his great effort in the office and administration work in the VIN. This amazing volunteer has supported the volunteer management team in editing VIN’s documents; supporting the volunteer’s coordinator on her daily duties and discovering templates for effective management of volunteers.
VIN received many other support hands from our generous volunteers not only with their skill but with other kinds of donations like fund raising, motivation and teaching materials and medical kits. Nick Gilks the returned volunteer from United Kingdom has also contributed baby clothes for the orphanage baby and supported volunteer management team on his volunteership. Ashley, Elline, Luce and Dominique of health and care project volunteers provided much medical stuff. Simone, Virginia, Jonty, Thalia, Miia and many more volunteers have supported VIN with the donation of time and with many teaching materials. All the donations stuffs will be provided to the needy on the supervision of VIN.
