16th November, 2014: VIN is established with an aim to empower the marginalized communities of rural Nepal through holistic community development approach. With high aim and determination VIN is working for the benefit of marginalized community people.
Motivated students from Sha Tin College, Hong Kong successfully raised fund of 1110 Euro and transferred to VINs account. They raised this fund to sponsor the children from remote area of Nepal. VIN has sponsored for the education of more than 180 children from disadvantage area of Nepal.
16 students from Hong kong Kelvin Chan, Lisa Cooley, Shimali De Silva, Divya Daryanani, Olivia Drave, Thomas Duffy, Veera Jain, Genieve Lau, Andrea Li, Ivan Li, Nick Lui, Jeremy Ma, Ernest Ng, Nicholas Orr, Tim Wong and Kelly Yu, Mr Kim Yip and Ms Meling Tsang, group leader made it to Everest Base Camp and 5 students made it up the next day to Kala Patar. We also received some donation for the children from them.
They expressed their love to nepal in their own words,” We all loved Nepal and happy to be able to give back to the community via your charity. We hope the donation will help the children in need”.
The words are not enough to appreciate their great help. They were successful to bring smile in the face of poor children and to their preserve hope for better future through education.
